Cheese Crust Pizza – by Theresa Vernon

Crust:

4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
3 eggs, large
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 cup full fat mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup provolone cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 375F degrees.

Beat the cream cheese, eggs, cream, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, garlic powder and Italian seasoning together until smooth. Mix the mozzarella, parmesan and provolone cheeses together. Spread the mixed grated cheeses evenly on a 10 inch by 15 inch non-stick jelly roll pan. Spread the egg mixture carefully and thinly over all of the cheese. Place in the heated oven for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Toppings:

3/4 cup marinara sauce (5 net carbs or less per serving)
6 tblsp. black olives, sliced
1 green bell pepper, large
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
3/4 pound Italian sausage, sweet
1 cup full fat mozzarella, grated

Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the cheese crust. Slice the bell pepper and mushrooms and saute them with the Italian sausage until the sausage is cooked. Spread evenly over the crust. Add the olives. Spread the mozzarella over all of the toppings. Bake until bubbling and beginning to brown.

May be modified with your favorite pizza toppings. It is excellent with pepperoni.  This is a very important recipe for a low carb diet for many people as pizza is often the deal breaker for the diet.  Very filling.
